When I was little, my Mother didn’t go to the gym. There wasn’t the time or money for such luxuries. Today, many of us find ourselves in the same situation. Taking a page from my Mom’s book has opened my eyes to a whole new attitude. When I started thinking of household chores as exercise, two things happened. I quit dreading housework, and I quit dreading my exercises! Now, I’m merrily cleaning off the bookshelves, washing windows, sweeping my sidewalk, mopping the floors, pulling weeds, and making beds, while my body is stretched and strengthened into a new, improved, trimmer and stronger me. You know, household chores will always need to be done, so why not bend a tiny deeper, stretch a tiny further, and reap more rewards than just a clean home. Eliminate the dust, dirt, and your expanding waistline!
